Whether you are looking for a paint or wallpaper finish, you will need to prepare the walls. If you are painting the walls, then you will need to fill any holes and fully sand them. It is important to sand evenly. If you are unable to do this, you may well see the uneven patches after the walls have been painted.
We use a dustless sanding system that allows us to offer even finishes every time. This works for walls and ceilings and virtually eliminates airborne dust. It is filtered away and therefore doesn’t create dust build up in your home.
Preparation for Wallpapering
You also need to carefully plan preparation of your walls for wallpapering. What does this include? If the walls or ceiling is papered then it needs to be stripped. When this is done all cracks, holes and imperfections need to be filled. Once this has been done and dried then the entire surface needs to be sealed.
